THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!!!

Johor Bahru 2/12/13: JDT today starts with an almost full fledged training with the exception of Mohammad Fadhli Shas, Mohd Irfan Fazail and Izham Tarmizi as they are still with the Harimau Muda A camp and also Haris Harun who is with the Singapore National squad, of which both team is due for the Myanmar SEA Games competition this month.

With the addition of Baihakki Khaizan, Pablo Aimar, Mohd Amri Yahyah and others which is mostly made up of star midfielders and defenders, we dare to say that JDT is impeccable.

But today’s training is far from perfect, this is their first time in the same pool and they are indeed wet, as the rain this particular morning prevents the ball from flowing freely, which limits their movement and individual skills.

They were divided into two sides and made to play on a smaller playing field with an inverted goal, and still some JDTII and Johor President Cup boys can be seen to fill in as markers.

As per Assistant Coach Ismail Ibrahim “The objective of today’s training is to get the players synergy and understanding of each other’s playing style”. He added that, the coaching team, is observing and is yet to touch on tactical nor any first eleven placement.

We’ve manage to catch Safiq Rahim after their warm down session and he retorted that after 11 days of rest from the Asian Cup qualifier with the Malaysian team, he’s proud and looking forward to learn under the wings of Coach Cesar Jimenez. “For the sake of JDT, I’d take this opportunity with my team mates to win the Malaysia FA Cup”

His focus is now JDT and determined that he won’t let the opportunity slip again as now he is among his co-stars with many positive possibility for the next season.
