COMPASSION KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES

When tragedy strikes, we must all come together. Not just for grieve, but rather offering support and encouragement to one another.

The disaster that struck Cardiff City player Emiliano Sala and the Flamengo training ground in Brazil has seen the world of football grieve together. Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) had a minute of silence for both incidents before their Malaysia Super League encounter against Kuala Lumpur commenced on Friday.

The Southern Tigers have always felt the need to show compassion in the wake of despair, a trait instilled by owner HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, the Crown Prince of Johor, who often reminds the JDT Family that a football club must also place importance in people and relationships, and this extends beyond just football.

In addition to condolence messages or the one-minute silence for tragedies in the world of football – including the death of fans – JDT was also sympathetic for other matters such as the Tahfiz School Fire, the fireman who lost his live while on duty, the fatal accident of a Cub Prix rider and more.

JDT have also welcomed countless of people with disabilities to the Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Hassan Yunos Stadium in Larkin following arrangements with the Welfare Department to bring different groups of the disabled to attend all home matches. There are also photo opportunities with the players and HRH Tunku Ismail, and the joy on everyone’s faces is telling.

BELAS EHSAN TANPA SEMPADAN

Apabila sesuatu tragedi berlaku, kita semua mesti bersama.

Kelab Bolasepak Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) turut bertafakur selama seminit (a minute of silence) khusus untuk kedua-dua insiden tersebut sebelum bermula perlawanan Liga Super Malaysia menentang Kuala Lumpur, Jumaat lalu.
